  • Improve milk quality
Unique variable winding technology allows us to implement different filtration cell sizes on different layers of the filter cartridge significantly increasing its capacity and providing you with better results.
  • Reduce bacterial contamination and acidity in milk
Milk provides a highly nutritious medium for bacterial growth. Impurities need to be removed as soon as possible, and this 5 μm filter catches even the smallest of them before the bacteria start multiplying.
  • Increase the shelf life of milk
Reducing bacterial contamination and lowering the acidity will help your milk stay fresh longer.
  • Optimize your workflow
The filter requires very little maintenance: remove the used cartridge after milking and flush the system with reverse water flow, no need to disassemble it or change filters during milking.
  • Maintain pressure levels in the system
Thanks to the variable winding of the filter it provides little resistance to the flow and does not clog while working at full capacity.
  • Increase your profit from milk production
Always get quality premiums for selling high-quality milk filtered with UVMILK® Max

How it works: The dirty milk is fed into the filter housing through the side inlet pipe and distributed over the outer surface of the cartridge. Then under the pump’s pressure it flows through the cartridge from the periphery to the center. Finally, through the outlet in the bottom cap you get clean liquid with no impurities.

Max filter parts

  • Install the filter in a 90 degree section of the milk pipe (hose) after the pump
  • Cut the pipe (hose) where you are going to install the housing, and weld or fasten the connection kit with clamps
  • Install the housing into the milking system by connecting the inlet and outlet connections to the appropriate couplings
  • Milk enters the filter housing through the side inlet pipe and passes under pressure through the filter cartridge. Pure milk comes out through the outlet in the bottom cap.

! The seals for the clamps must fit exactly into the slots on the housing cap and on the branch pipes, then the housing will be completely sealed

! The filter is installed after the pump

Max filter installation

  • Use UVMILK® Max filters right after milking while milk is warm to prevent dissolution of impurities.
  • To avoid hydraulic impact, after you install the filter first open the «ВХОД» (input), and then, when the housing fills up with milk, gradually open the «ВЫХОД» (output).
  • After the declared amount of milk passes through the filter or after you finish milking, remove the replaceable cartridge and dispose of it together with other solid waste.
  • One filtering cartridge should be used for one milking only.
  • The seals for the clamps must fit exactly into the slots on the housing cap and on the branch pipes, then the housing will be completely sealed.
  • The system should be washed after each milking and a new cartridge should be installed on the next milking to prevent bacterial growth and milk going sour.
  • The silicone seals in the housing should be replaced 2 times a year.
  • To make the UVMILK® Max filter work more efficiently an additional level of filtration is recommended prior to it. See UVMILK® Sock filter for more information.

Reviews

Farm in Chuvashia region, 12000 liters of milk per day

With fine filtration it was finally possible for us to improve milk quality while maintaining the original fat content of 3.83% and an average protein of 3.18%. In the first half of 2019 98% of the milk delivered was accepted by the processing plant as the highest grade. Since after we’ve installed UVMILK® filters the share of the highest grade milk sold increased from 81% to 98.6%. We order filters in large quantities, they are always in stock, and there have never been any hitches with deliveries.

UVMILK® filters process the stated volume of milk. All impurities, dirt and clots of mastitis cells are clearly visible on the used filter. All indicators of milk quality correspond to the highest grade since we started filtering our milk. We’ve been using these filters for 5 years, and it’s been 5 years since the last time a dairy processing plant didn’t accept our milk.

We have been working with UVMilk for a long time, the quality of the filters does not fail. Since we increased our livestock, we’ve switched from 5-ton filters to 10-ton filters. We clean cold milk, more dirt is retained on the upper layers, less by the middle of the filter. Filters do not affect the fat content in milk, the component premiums do not change. We sell our milk to two dairy processing plants, and both of them give our milk the highest grade.
