The strength of the finished UVMILK plate is significantly higher than foreign analogues, and the cost is lower.
More about our production
After the press, the plant material enters the filter housing and through the gaps between the main and intermediate plates gets into the internal cavity of the filter. When the oil passes through the plates, the cake, fuzz dirt particles, waxes, residues of the alluvial layer, protein and mucous substances contained in it are retained. The fineness of the cleaning depends on the filter rating of the upper mesh.
During circulation, the mesh first retains larger particles that form the filter layer, and then captures smaller impurities. During operation of the filter, the outer and frame layers of the meshes inevitably become clogged. Scrapers mounted on a pin are used to clean the outer mesh. When contaminants accumulate at the bottom of the housing, they are removed through an opening in the lower part of the housing.
The oil extraction plant produces 100 tons of vegetable sunflower oil per day. One pre-coat filter failed, clogging with fuzz and breaking the mesh, deforming the profile, and cracks in the frame. Due to equipment failure, the plant temporarily switched to producing unrefined oil, underproducing 60 tons of oil daily. Losses from equipment downtime are 0.75 € X 60 tons = 45,000 € per day. Ordering a full set of filter plates from abroad in the amount of 14 pieces will cost the plant 30,000 €, and delivery will take about 3 months.
Ordering the manufacture of plates from the UVMILK plant will cost 19,000 €. The savings on purchasing a set of plates is 30,000 — 19,000 = 11,000 €. In addition, the UVMILK plant will manufacture the plates in 1 month. Buying a set of filter plates to replace the existing ones will cost 11,000 € less without additional duties on delivery and customs clearance, and the manufacturing time is three times shorter. As a result, the MEZ will be able to reach the planned volume of refined oil production within one month.
Given:
The oil extraction plant produces about 140 tons of oil per day. Foreign precoat filters purchased more than 10 years ago are used for refining.
Task:
Replace damaged plates with similar ones for cleaning oil from suspended solids, thereby increasing the transparency of the oil and protecting the downtime line.
Solution:
Complete replacement of the set of GNP plates in the oil refining section with a new one manufactured by UVMILK with the corresponding initial micronity of the meshes.
Result:
By replacing the set of worn meshes with new ones, it was possible to ensure effective filtration of the oil to the required level of transparency.
The kieselguhr filter consists of a filter bell with a set of plates and a tank for filling with kieselguhr and further preparation of the suspension for filtration. The washed layer is a porous structure with a huge number of small channels that trap all the dirt. The amount of kieselguhr and its fraction vary depending on the technological task and the initial level of beer contamination.
For constant renewal of the filter layer, the filter has a dosing pump that constantly feeds new portions of kieselguhr into the flow of unfiltered beer, thereby recreating the filter layer. This system allows the device to operate with stable filtration quality. During the operation, the turbidity of the beer at the inlet and outlet can be monitored through the viewing glasses.
The brewery produces more than 20 types of beer. About 40% of the total volume of beer undergoes mandatory filtration through kieselguhr filters, which allows you to quickly and clarify the beer to the desired level, removing a huge part of the yeast and suspended matter from it. Over time, the upper mesh on the plates stretched, due to which the cake stopped washing properly, the filtration quality decreased. The brewery sent the beer for sale, but the next batch was returned. Losses of 10,000 l X 0.65 € = 6,500 € for the return of products from the network collected within two weeks.
Having ordered a set of wash plates for the kieselguhr filter from the company UVMILK, the brewery received new plates with an ideal tension of the upper mesh with a micron of 55 microns, which fully complies with the passport of the wash filter. By investing about 4200 euros at a time to replace the plates, you will be able to purify the planned volume of beer to the required level of transparency, removing suspended matter, excess yeast cells, significantly increasing the quality and shelf life of the product. Payback period for filters: within two weeks.
Given:
A brewery produces 30 tons of beer per day. After secondary fermentation, the beer is fed to a kieselguhr filter to remove suspended solids and excess yeast.
Task:
Replace the plates clogged with kieselguhr deposits with similar ones to clean the beer from suspended solids and ensure the required transparency of the beer.
Solution:
Selective replacement of kieselguhr plates in the precoat filter with new ones manufactured by UVMILK with the corresponding initial micronity of the mesh.
Result:
By selectively replacing the clogged and stretched meshes with new ones, it was possible to ensure effective filtration of the beer to the required level of transparency.
The principle of operation of a vibrating separator: vibration is created by an electric motor with eccentrics at the ends of the shaft, which, as a rule, has the ability to adjust the angle of the eccentrics. The created vibration is transmitted to the body and a sieve rigidly fixed in it. The product enters the sieve and then, due to gravity and vibration, is sifted through one or more sieve surfaces, thereby separating into several fractions, according to the size of the holes in the meshes.
Vibrating separators are equipped with a system for quickly adjusting the vibration amplitude and the pattern of material movement along the sieve surface. This option allows you to quickly change the settings and create the most efficient movement of material on the screen. The vibration motor is an electric motor with a vertically mounted shaft. Wheels with eccentric weights are installed on the upper and lower ends of the shaft. Adjustment is carried out by changing the eccentric weights on the lower wheel.
As a result of milk processing at the dairy plant, curd whey is formed daily, which can then be used for drying, added to soft and processed cheeses, and juice drinks. The whey undergoes mandatory filtration on vibrating sieves. If the sieve fabric breaks, the plant will not be able to process all the whey and will be forced to dispose of up to 10 tons of whey. The loss in this case is 10,000 liters X 0.1 € = 1,000 € per day.
Having ordered sieve repair from UVMILK, the dairy plant received sieves with a filter pore size of 40 microns, which made it possible to achieve the required whey purity. In addition, the dairy plant was able to collect up to 320 kg of cheese grain per day or 7,040 tons per month. Having invested about 1,000 € at one time, for sieve repair, you will clean the whey and additionally be able to send the filtered cheese grain for processing. Payback period of filters: less than one day.
«Our production uses a vibrating separator to clean curd whey. The vibrating sieves themselves periodically break during operation. We contacted the official representative of a foreign manufacturer in the Russian Federation. They offered us to buy new sieves. The price was calculated in euros, and the delivery time was several months. As a result, we decided to use the services of domestic companies that repaired our vibrating sieves.
The first attempt was unsuccessful. After the repair, a week later, the mesh fabric began to peel off, because it was not securely glued to the base. We were not satisfied with the result. At the Agroprommash exhibition we met the company UVMilk. The guys assured us that they had already repaired similar screens and had satisfied customers. We sent the vibrating screens to Voronezh. The repair from UVMilk completely satisfied us — the filter screen was stretched evenly and did not come off. We were satisfied»

The brewery uses three Italian diatomaceous earth plate filters in production. Over time, the mesh on several plates stretched, the diatomaceous earth began to wash off poorly, and the quality of the beer began to deteriorate. The brewery contacted the manufacturer in Italy, but the delivery time was not satisfactory. The plant temporarily switched to the production of unfiltered beer and reduced the total output by 8 tons per day. The brewery’s daily losses amount to 8,000 liters X 0.65 € = 5,200 €.
Specialists from the UVMILK company offered to repair only those plates that were out of order. As a result, they selected 5 plates from one filter and one more plate from another. The repair cost 1,100 € and took less than two weeks. The transparency of the beer improved compared to the indicators before the repair. Payback period of repair: 5200 : 1100 = 5 days. After restoring the original state of the plates, the washing of kieselguhr occurs more evenly, the organoleptic characteristics of the beer have improved.
Given:
The brewery produces 30 tons of filtered beer per day. According to the technology, beer passes through kieselguhr filters to obtain the required organoleptic properties.
Task:
To obtain the required organoleptic properties of beer, replace the top layer of kieselguhr plates to ensure uniformity of the pre-wash layer.
Solution:
Repair of a complete set of filter plates with replacement of the top layer of mesh with a mesh of similar weave and micron size at the UVMILK plant.
Result:
By replacing a set of worn meshes with new ones, it was possible to ensure effective filtration of beer and improve its organoleptic properties.
