  • Get clean milk with no impurities
Use multilayered UVMILK® filters made of spun polypropylene with 10 μm filtration cells.
  • Reduce milk spills
Unlike common sewn milk filters, you don’t need to change UVMILK® Sleeve filters during milking, wasting time and spilling milk.
  • Completely avoid filter tears
Our sock filter has no seams and the tip is laser soldered.
  • Maintain stable pressure levels in the milk pipe
Thanks to the variable winding of the filter it provides little resistance to the flow and does not clog while working at full capacity.
  • Save money on filter housing
This filter will fit in any sock filter housing you already have.
  • Optimize your workflow
Filters that don’t need the spring inside and only need to be changed after milking help you build seamless work processes and increase productivity.

How it works: The dirty milk is fed into the filter housing through the top inlet pipe in the housing cap and distributed over the outer surface of the cartridge. Then under the pump’s pressure it flows through the cartridge from the periphery to the center. Finally, through the outlet in the bottom cap you get clean liquid with no impurities.

Sock filter parts

  • Install the filter in the hose after the receiver jar and the pump
  • Cut the hose where you are going to install the housing, and fasten the connection kit with clamps
  • Install the housing into the milking system by connecting the inlet and outlet connections to the caps and to the filter housing
  • Milk enters the filter housing through the top inlet pipe in the housing cap and passes under pressure through the filter cartridge. Pure milk comes out through the outlet in the bottom cap.
  • To use this filter with the filter housing you already have, remove the spiral first, then use the adaptor to hold the filter in place and fasten the cap.

! The seals for the clamps must fit exactly into the slots on the housing cap and on the branch pipes, then the housing will be completely sealed

! The filter is installed after the pump

Sock filter assembly

  • Use UVMILK® Sleeve filters right after milking while milk is warm to prevent dissolution of impurities.

  • WARNING: The adapter must be screwed in straight to avoid damage to the housing wall. Do not tilt the filter when screwing in the adapter.
  • To avoid hydraulic impact, after you install the filter first open the “ВХОД” (input), and then, when the housing fills up with milk, gradually open the “ВЫХОД” (output).
  • After the declared amount of milk passes through the filter or after you finish milking, remove the replaceable cartridge and dispose of it together with other solid waste.
  • One filtering cartridge should be used for one milking only.
  • The seals for the clamps must fit exactly into the slots on the housing cap and on the branch pipes, then the housing will be completely sealed.
  • The system should be washed after each milking and a new cartridge should be installed on the next milking to prevent bacterial growth and milk going sour.
  • The silicone seals in the housing should be replaced 2 times a year.
  • To make the UVMILK® Sleeve filter work more efficiently an additional level of filtration is recommended prior to it. See UVMILK® Slotted filter for more information.

Reviews

Farm in Novosibirsk region, 3000 liters of milk per day

UVMILK® Sleeve filters process the stated volume of milk. One cartridge is enough for one milking for us. No complaints about the product.

Farm in Kirovsk region, 5000 liters of milk per day

Agriculture is quite risky in our region, therefore, our main focus is dairy farming. We mainly make money from selling raw milk. After we switched to UVMILK® Sleeve filters we lowered our filtration expenses and stabilized milk quality on a higher level.

We’ve tried different sock filters over the years, original brands and knockoffs, but the result was not always satisfactory. For us a clear advantage of UVMILK® Sleeve filters is the ease of installation into the system and removal of the used filter. We made sure personally that the dirt remains on the filter cartridge.
