How it works: The dirty milk is fed into the filter housing through the side inlet pipe and under the pump’s pressure it flows through the cartridge from the periphery to the center. Finally, through the outlet in the bottom cap you get high quality milk with low bacterial cell count.

Filtering cartridge is formed with over 100 discrete rows of food grade PP that is made by aerodynamic extrusion. Maximum filtration efficiency is achieved through a unique patented variable winding technology.

Winding density of PP thread grow up from the periphery to the center which provide multistage milk filtering that filter large contaminations first and minor bacterial cells as a second step, meanwhile letting milk fat globules go through easily.

  • The filter is installed in the hose
  • Cut the hose where you are going to install the housing, and weld or fasten the connection kit with clamps
  • Milk enters the filter housing through the side inlet pipe and passes under pressure through the filter cartridge. Pure milk comes out through the outlet in the bottom cap.

! The seals for the clamps must fit exactly into the slots on the housing cap and on the branch pipes, then the housing will be completely sealed

  • Use UVMILK® Micro filter right after milking while milk is warm to prevent dissolution of impurities.
  • To avoid hydraulic impact, after you install the filter first open the «ВХОД» (input), and then, when the housing fills up with milk, gradually open the «ВЫХОД» (output).
  • After the declared amount of milk passes through the filter or after you finish milking, remove the replaceable cartridge and dispose of it together with other solid waste.
  • One filtering cartridge should be used for one milking only.
  • Wash the milking system each time and use a new filtering cartridge for each milking to prevent bacterial cell grow and milk go sour.
  • The seals for the clamps must fit exactly into the slots on the housing cap and on the branch pipes, then the housing will be completely sealed.
  • The system should be washed after each milking and a new cartridge should be installed on the next milking to prevent bacterial growth and milk going sour.
  • The silicone seals in the housing should be replaced 2 times a year.
  • To make the UVMILK® Micro filter work more efficiently an additional level of filtration like UVMILK® filtering fabric is recommended prior to it.

We produce goat milk. In winter we milk 30 liters at a time, in summer - up to 50 liters, 3 milkings a day. Used to clean with lavsan, but the results were bad, grains of sand fell into the milk. With UVMILK® MICRO filters milk became noticeably cleaner and the sediment problem was solved. Next year we plan to double production volume.
