Water analysis results
The high efficiency of UVAQUA water filters is confirmed by the results of water analysis. The study of water samples before and after filtration is carried out by YUVMILK in independent testing laboratory centers. Agricultural, food and petrochemical enterprises using our filters also receive significant purification results.
The organoleptic properties of water after using UVAQUA filters improve. The color and turbidity are significantly reduced, the smell and taste of water disappear, which are important criteria for food processing and agricultural enterprises using water primarily for food purposes and food production.
Quantitative chemical analyses of water before and after filtration allow us to recommend installing UVAQUA filters when preparing water intended for further heating. Reducing the level of total mineralization and water hardness allows you to protect equipment from scale and corrosion, thereby maintaining the throughput of pipelines.
Reducing the total hardness of process water with UVAQUA filters allows you to reduce the consumption of softeners, and as a result, ensure a more economical consumption of additives. Reducing iron content in water after UVAQUA filters helps optimize enterprise costs for the use of ion exchange resin.
Due to the high winding density, the smallest impurities are retained inside our filters after the use of carbon, ion exchange, sand filters. The final indicators largely depend on the initial state of the water, but in general, the use of UVAQUA water filters is justified at enterprises of any profile.
Steel pre-filters
UVMILK steel filters for preliminary purification are designed to purify water at the water intake from large mechanical impurities over 100 microns in size, such as stones, algae, insects. Removing large impurities slows down the wear of the mechanisms of pumping pumps, protects them from breakdowns and, as a result, extends the service life.
The special conical architecture and the arrangement of the holes on the slot filters, the reinforced frame of the mesh filters guarantee high structural strength. The use of certified food grade stainless steel as materials ensures a long useful life of filters in agricultural and industrial enterprises.

Coarse water filters
UVAQUA coarse water filters have a basic micron rating of 10 microns, which allows them to retain sand and scale that enter the water supply from wells or centralized water supply, and then find themselves in equipment for mixing, cooking, storing semi-finished and finished products. This type of filter protects pipes and tanks from abrasive wear.
UVAQUA coarse filters are produced by aerodynamic extrusion of primary polypropylene. Melted thin polypropylene threads, solidifying, form a durable multilayer cartridge that does not require the use of an additional internal frame. The filter structure ensures its high dirt holding capacity and increased service life.

Fine water filters
UVAQUA fine water filters have a basic micron rating of 1 micron and are designed to prepare water for technical needs. The specified degree of filtration allows to reduce turbidity, total hardness, mineralization, iron content to a level acceptable for use in heating systems, washing equipment, raw materials and containers with a large volume of water consumption.
When used for technical purposes, water is heated to temperatures in accordance with the regulations of a given technological process. When water is heated, the salts contained in it decompose, precipitate, and are deposited on the walls and inner surfaces of pipes, rendering them unusable. The use of fine water filters increases the efficiency of production processes.

Combined ultra-fine water filters
UVAQUA combined water filters for ultra-fine purification have a two-level structure: a layer of spinning thread is wound on a dense water cartridge. The multi-level structure of the filter allows for the sequential retention of impurities of different sizes from water, obtaining a purification fineness of up to 0.5 microns at the output. The thread can be made of cotton, viscose or nylon.
When passing through the UVAQUA combined water filters, the chemical composition of the water changes, the content of iron, manganese, magnesium, calcium, nitrates, nitrites, sulfates, chlorides is significantly reduced, microorganisms and spores are retained. Purified water can be used for food purposes, production of beverages, food products and chemical products.

Economic justification
The company produces 48m³ of mineral water per day. Filtration at the production site is represented by old bag filters, which are installed during unloading from the tank, and 5 micron filters in plastic housings during bottling. Due to the lack of preliminary water filtration immediately after the well, small stones, sand, clay and organic contaminants get into the tank. Bag filters do not cope and break. 2-3 filters are used per day at a price of 4 € / piece. Total costs for filter replacement are 8 € per day. Plastic housings do not withstand pressure and burst. The cost of a plastic housing is on average 30 €.
Due to the lack of ultra-fine cleaning on the bottling line, sediment and dirt get into the packaged products. The batch is recalled from the store. The cost of recalling a batch is €8,640 (€0.18/l.) The total loss due to insufficient filtration is €8,678 per day. Why it is profitable to use the UVAQUA filter system? By installing the UVAQUA filter system, you get clean drinking water from a well that meets sanitary standards and the required recipe. Filtration costs: a comprehensive system of 5 filters and a set of cartridges for a month will be €2,800. Filter payback: 1 day.
Client case
Given:
The mineral water and beverage plant produces mineral medicinal table water. The water is extracted in an ecologically clean zone from a depth of 120 meters and has unique medicinal properties. Sometimes mechanical impurities in the form of sand and soil residues are observed.
Task:
Install a filter on the production line for control purification of water from random impurities from wells or production equipment, while preserving all the original medicinal properties of the water.
Solution:
Installation of a combined UVAQUA water filter with a purification fineness of 0.5 microns for control purification of water before bottling into containers to guarantee the absence of foreign impurities.
Result:
Thanks to the installation of a combined UVAQUA water filter with a purification fineness of 0.5 microns at the bottling site, it was possible to protect the entire volume bottled water from accidental impurities and preserve all its medicinal properties.
Feedback on the use of the UVAQUA combined filter
«We are manufacturers of biological products for crop protection against pests and for veterinary disinfestation. The purpose of the product we manufacture is to increase the efficiency and environmental friendliness of plant growing. An important component in the creation of a biological product is high-quality water without unnecessary impurities. From experience, we know that impurities can react with chemical reagents.
Earlier, we tested a carbon filter at the plant, but after its use, carbon inclusions in the form of dust were observed in the purified water, which is unacceptable according to the production technology, since it negatively affects the efficiency of the resulting biological product. The solution was to use a combined water filter from the company YUVMILK, made of polypropylene, the particles of which do not migrate into the water. We recommend the use of the YUVMILK water filter to other manufacturers.»
