UVMILK Thermally Bonded Filters
Thermal bonding production
Thermally bonded filters are made from certified needle-punched, non-woven and chemical-resistant materials. The technology for the production of sleeve filters was patented by us in 2015. The quality of the products is confirmed by general and food certificates. The trust of partners is highly valued in the company and is one of the main operating principles.

UVMILK Thermally Bonded Filter Range
Sock filters
UVMILK Sock filters are used primarily in food production for the purification of liquids and drinks, and on dairy farms for the purification of milk. In the production of syrups and lemonades, liner filters are used to remove undissolved particles before bottling; in the production of juices - to remove skins and plant fibers; in the production of beer - to remove yeast, hops and malt after brewing.
Thermally bonded seams prevent the filter from tearing during use. The microvilli of the needle-punched fabric retain mechanical inclusions, and the smooth inner surface facilitates the process of installing and replacing the filter. Upon request, we manufacture stocking filters with non-standard sizes, configurations and bottom types for any equipment, including imported filter units.

Assembling the sock filter
- Slide the spring onto the axle tube, then slide the filter element over it.
- Fold the edges of the filter element inward and secure the structure to the adapter.
- Install the plug to clamp the sealed end of the filter element inside the axial tube.
- Place the silicone seal along the top edge of the housing and install the cover.
- Place the adapter with the filter element inside the housing and secure it with a clamp.
Economic justification
The brewery produces 15 tons of lemonades and juice drinks per day. Before bottling into kegs and plastic bottles, finished drinks may contain residues of raw materials, plant fibers and undissolved particles of sugar, dyes, and stabilizers. Impurities may precipitate or be suspended. Lots with visually visible impurities will either be rejected or returned from retail sales. If impurities are detected in 10% of bottles, losses on containers are 20 rubles per piece * 1000 = 20,000 rubles per day.
The use of UVMILK sock filters on the line allows us to ensure high quality of finished lemonades and juice drinks, thereby avoiding unnecessary costs for packaging, organizing the production and shipment of products for sale according to the approved plan. By investing RUB 10,000 per day in filtration on all bottling lines, you will get a stable product output and savings on waste. Your customers will also appreciate the attractive presentation of lemonades on store shelves. Filter payback period: one day.
Feedback on the use of UVMILK sock filters
“We have a large assortment of liqueurs and tinctures. We took sock filters with different selectivities from the UVMILK company for testing. Based on the test results, 2 types of filters were selected. The filters are easy to use. The filtered particles remain on the inner surface of the bag. After accumulating a certain volume of filtered mass, the filter can be easily pulled out of the housing and the filter element replaced.”

Sleeve filters
Sleeve filters are an improved alternative to sock filters, allowing non-stop filtration of large volumes of liquids. The advantages of filters are increased resource, durability and ease of operation. Special adapters developed by UVMILK make it possible to use filter elements in sock filter housings already installed on farms.
The patented technology of triangular thermal sealing of the filter spout ensures that leaks are avoided and the possible consequences of pressure surges in the milk pipeline are prevented, while maintaining the declared diameter of the filter element. The multilayer winding structure of polypropylene thread ensures a tight fit of the filter and effectively retains particles of mechanical contaminants from 10 microns.

Sleeve filter assembly
- Secure the filter element with the open cut to the adapter seat.
- Place the silicone seal around the inside edge of the adapter.
- Install the structure inside the housing and secure it with a clamp.
- Place the seal along the top edge of the housing, install the cover and secure with a clamp.
- To avoid rupture of the filter element, the flow should be directed towards the sealed filter spout.
Economic justification
The farm produces about 6,000 liters of milk per day and uses sewn sock filters. Often cheap traditional sewn filters cannot withstand pressure and break. All collected dirt will fall back into the milk line. If the milk is heavily contaminated, it will be accepted as second grade: 6,000 liters x 20 rubles = 120,000 rubles. If the difference in the price of the first and second grade milk is 3 rubles, the farm will receive less than 6,000 liters x 3 rubles = 18,000 rubles for each day of grade slippage.
When using a multilayer bag filter with a sealed spout, the possibility of rupture and re-contamination of milk is eliminated, which means that the farm will deliver first-grade milk and consistently receive 6,000 liters x 23 rubles = 138,000 rubles per day. In addition, the service life of the UVMILK Middle sleeve filter is 2 times higher than that of a sewn bag filter. By investing monthly in filtration 4 filters x 30 days x 55 rubles = 6600 rubles, the farm protected itself from grade slips. Filter payback period: 1 day.
Feedback on the use of UVMILK sleeve filters
“We strictly monitor milking hygiene on farms; we deliver milk of the highest grade. Previously, as a safety net, they used 3 sock filters per milking, now it takes one sleeve filter, in terms of money it’s about the same, but in terms of speed of installation, sleeve filters win. The equipment is about 10 years old, service technicians say it’s like new. We receive the order at the post office, no need to waste time traveling to the city.”

Bag filters
Bag filters are used in food and petrochemical plants, providing effective filtration of individual batches of products. The wide micron rating of these filters allows the purification of highly viscous liquids, such as tomato pastes or resins. Filters made of polyamide threads withstand prolonged contact with aggressive environments, preventing chemical and ionic interaction.
Bag filters are also used for sifting dry components and substances: in the food industry - spices, flour, starch, and in the chemical industry - for sifting salts. Polyester bag filters are used for oil filtration, and on pneumatic and aspiration equipment for air purification from industrial dust, the dense filter material reliably retains the smallest particles.

Assembling the bag filter
- Place the metal basket into the filter housing, placing it in the seat inside the housing.
- Place the filter bag in the basket, placing its ring on the hanger of the basket.
- To fix the internal structure, install the spring with an arc upwards on the hangers of the basket.
- Place the silicone seal along the top edge of the housing, fitting exactly into the groove.
- Close the filter cover and secure the structure with a clamp.
Economic justification
The oil extraction plant produces about 80 tons of oil per day. Before bottling, refined deodorized oil may contain random mechanical impurities that negatively affect transparency and presentation. If cheap police filters rupture, impurities will enter the container, after which repeated filtration will be required, and the planned volume of oil will not be packaged. If impurities are detected in 10% of the bottles, the loss on the container is 18 rubles. per piece * 8000=144,000 rub. in a day.
The use of a UVMILK police bag filter on the bottling line allows us to ensure high quality of refined deodorized oil and stable operation of the line, thereby avoiding unnecessary costs for packaging and organizing production according to the approved plan. By investing 9,000 rubles per day in filtration on all packaging lines, you will receive stably operating bottling equipment and savings on packaging. Filter payback period: one day.
Feedback on the use of UVMILK bag filters
“We purchased a filter unit from the UVMILK company for the production of polyvinyl acetate; all our wishes for the equipment were taken into account. We put bag filters from the same manufacturer inside the basket. We settled on filters with a selectivity of 300 microns. The performance, speed and degree of filtration are completely satisfactory. We recommend the company as a reliable supplier."
