The machine park of the sorbent production shop is represented by modified equipment for the production of non-woven sorbent materials and finished products based on them. The strength and elasticity of the materials are ensured by the spinneret-blown method, which allows to do without stretching the fibers that form the fabric. The oil capacity of finished UVMILK sorbents is higher than foreign analogues, which is confirmed by certificates and test reports.

UVMILK polypropylene microfiber sorbent wipes are designed to clean equipment in production facilities from lubricants and oil and fat contaminants. A special feature of UVMILK wipes is their hydrophobicity. The wipes can be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures and do not enter into chemical reactions with contacted substances.
Optimal sorption capacity and sorption rate indicators create excellent conditions for absorbing aggressive chemical, flammable and oil-containing liquids, which allows you to successfully clean working surfaces and units of storage tanks, grinders, conveyors, pneumatic cylinders, lead screws, guides and gears of equipment.
UVMILK sorbent fabric is designed to create flooring in work areas and collect fuels and lubricants during maintenance, repair of agricultural and special equipment, localization and collection of spills in drains, storm drains and sewers. The fabric quickly absorbs oil and oil products and does not sink in water bodies even when fully saturated.
The structure of the non-woven fabric ensures its strength and elasticity, so the saturated fabric can be regenerated by wringing. If necessary, the liquid collected by sorbent products can be reused or disposed of. At the customer’s request, perforation is applied to the roll, which allows the material to be used more economically, using only the required amount.
Using UVMILK sorbent rugs for collecting fuel and lubricants will ensure the necessary cleanliness even in areas with high traffic, will protect the surfaces of equipment, machines, premises and soil from accidental spills and contamination. The rugs absorb liquid and reliably retain it inside the pores, eliminating the possibility of desorption and re-contamination.
The unique technology of processing polypropylene microfiber in the production of UVMILK sorbent rugs provides high sorbent properties, and the creped top layer increases the strength and wear resistance of the products. Thermal bonding prevents the formation of fluffiness and the destruction of the integrity of the material during intensive use.
UVMILK sorbent pillows help solve the problem of fuel film residues, fuel oil, oils and other petroleum products getting into waste and waste water at large industrial enterprises and at thermal power plant treatment facilities. The sorbent pillows perfectly absorb petroleum products without absorbing water, and therefore without becoming heavier, and remain on the surface of the water even after saturation.
The use of microfiber fluff as a filler allows for the sorption of large volumes of liquid and its retention inside the shell. Due to the high oil capacity and liquid absorption rate, the pillows quickly eliminate spills, having compact dimensions. UVMILK sorbent pillows are a universal product that is ready for independent use.
UVMILK sorbent mats are designed to delay, permanently or long-term absorb oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, motor oils, fats, organic solvents and other hydrocarbon-containing substances. Unlike sorbent pillows, the mats are larger in size, which allows them to hold a significantly larger volume of liquids inside.
The scope of application of this type of sorbents is extensive. They have proven their effectiveness on railway tracks, open transformer areas, in storage areas, inside warehouse complexes and even in collector wells. To prevent the filler from getting knocked down during operation, the mats are divided into square sections by strong heat-sealed seams.
The sorbent booms manufactured by UVMILK have increased strength due to the cover material and additional frame mesh. To localize spills on water bodies, the booms are additionally equipped with carabiners, which allows increasing the length of the barrier to the size required by the situation. At the same time, the booms can absorb fairly viscous petroleum products, oils, and light rainbow films.
The material from which the booms are made has oleophilic and simultaneously hydrophobic properties. It effectively removes lubricants and oil products from hard surfaces of the production area, and also quickly localizes spills of oil-containing substances from water bodies by absorbing oil products and not interacting with water.
UVMILK sorbent caps are designed to collect drips, drops and spills of petroleum products, industrial oil, acids, alkalis and other aggressive liquids when filling and draining 200-liter barrels. The diameter of the caps corresponds to the diameter of the lid and has holes that match the filler neck and air duct. They instantly absorb and keep barrels clean and dry.
This type of sorbents can be successfully used by industrial enterprises, oil producing organizations and oil refineries, as well as in car services, warehouses, gas stations, oil depots, air and sea ports, sea and river vessels, oil and oil product loading stations and other enterprises associated with the turnover of oil and oil products.
There are technical reservoirs on the territory of the production facility, where waste water contaminated with oil products is collected. Discharge of such water is subject to high fines. When using bulk sorbents, monthly costs for sorption of 50 bags X 40 € = 2,000 €. The cost of work on replacement and disposal of spent sorbent is 1,200 €. Total costs are 3,200 € monthly.
Using UVMILK sorbent pillows and booms allows for effective collection of oil products from the surface of reservoirs and reduction of operating costs due to regeneration of spent products by squeezing. In the future, sorbent products can be reused without loss of absorption capacity. The cost of a set of sorbents was 3,000 €. Payback period: 1 month.
