Metalworking production

Types of steel filters
FLOW FILTERS
UVMILK flow filters are used to purify liquid and gaseous media from unwanted mechanical impurities. A wide range of materials and micron sizes allows you to choose the optimal solution for cleaning common and unique filtered media.
Along with standard items, we manufacture steel cartridges to customer order for existing housings. The ratio of the areas of the filter surface and the blind zones on the cartridge ensures that the original liquid flow rate is maintained.

FLOOD FILTERS
In the absence of a closed liquid pumping circuit in production, the UVMILK company offers the use of open-type filler filters. In this case, the supply of liquid is carried out mainly manually.
Fill filters are suitable for purifying milk, whey, oils and other liquids, the volume of which is usually small. The mesh filter bottom can be used both to remove impurities and to collect valuable product.

WATER FILTERS
The UVMILK company manufactures filter plates and plates for horizontal and vertical precoat filters. At oil extraction plants, these filters are used to purify oil at the stages of winterization, refining, and bleaching, and at breweries - to purify beer.
Thanks to the repair of plates and plates produced by UVMILK, our clients save significantly on the maintenance of filter plates for precoat filters and do not depend on foreign suppliers with long delivery times and high prices.

FILTER SHEETS
The sieves produced by UVMILK are designed primarily for sifting and sorting dry products or ingredients. The shape and size of the filter cell are selected for the specific type of product.
Filter sheets are made of stainless steel, which ensures a long service life. They are used as ready-made independent equipment, and as a replaceable element, for example, in a centrifuge or grain cleaning machine.

FILTER SIEVES
The UVMIlk company produces and repairs vibrating sieves for installations intended for the fractional separation of inert aggregates: sand, gravel, cement, as well as various food materials. This equipment is used in food and petrochemical plants.
Cylindrical and leaf sieves are used primarily either to separate and collect the useful product, such as curd grains from whey, or to remove impurities. At customer request, we produce perforated or slotted filter sieves for special orders.

BASKET FILTERS
UVMILK basket filters handle a wide range of liquids and retain solids of virtually any size. The basket cartridge can work as an independent filter element or in conjunction with a bag filter.
For ease of use, basket filters have a pressure ring, and if necessary, basket cartridges can be equipped with a handle. For particularly viscous media, the cartridges are provided with stiffening ribs.

SUBMERSION FILTERS
For spot filtration of liquids, UVMILK specialists have developed a line of submersible filters that have a convenient attachment to the end of the hose. The compact dimensions of the cartridges allow them to be placed inside containers for storing the product.
To filter liquid for suction from one container to another, the filter layer of the mesh is located outside on top of the frame. For filtration for pumping, the filter and frame layers are swapped.

WASTE FILTERS
For food enterprises, the most common task of waste filtration is the removal of large mechanical particles of raw materials and fats from waste liquids to reduce the burden on the environment of the surrounding areas.
For chemical enterprises, the UVMILK company has developed a line of filters for eliminating large mechanical particles of raw materials, undissolved pigment, as well as retaining dyes from washouts inside the filters.

- Connect the body and the bottom cover with a clamp, laying a silicone seal.
- Place the flat seal on the bottom of the housing and install the filter element.
- Place the silicone seal exactly into the groove along the top edge of the housing.
- Place the flat seal over the filter element seat on the cover.
- Close the filter cover tightly and secure the structure with a clamp.
- To connect the housing to the filtration line, use mating parts.
CHARACTERISTICS OF UVMILK STEEL FILTERS
ECONOMIC JUSTIFICATION
The organomineral fertilizer produced by the company contains a significant amount of sapropel particles, which, under the old filtration system, created an adhering layer on the mesh that stopped filtration. Due to frequent stoppages, it was not possible to ensure the planned estimated production volume, the lag was about 20% of the plan, namely 10 tons * 20% = 2 tons per day. Frequent and lengthy washings also entailed large labor costs.
The use of the UVMILK slot filter allows filtration both from the inside and from the outside of the filter element. This allows you to significantly reduce labor costs and line downtime. Having invested 2385 € in filtration, it was possible to organize stable operation of the line and increase production output by 10%: 10 tons * 10% = 11 tons per day. Total coverage of the backlog according to plan is 2 tons x 1.1 €/liter + production increase 1 ton x 1.1 €/liter = 3300 €. in a day. Filter payback period: 3300 €: 2385 € = 1 day.

“We produce coffee oils for instant coffee and coffee blends. According to the quality management system, oils must undergo final cleaning through a 630 micron filter. We requested exactly this micron size from many suppliers, and in response they offered us a different one. But it is much easier for us to establish the size accepted in the standard than to conduct tests and make risk assessments for switching to another size.
As a result, we went to the UVMILK plant, the manager promised to make us a basket slot filter according to our sketch and with our micron size. The order was completed quickly, the sizes were exactly the same. We tested the filter insert in our case. Afterwards we ordered a complete set of a housing and a basket filter for our line.
