UVMILK milk filters are manufactured using aerodynamic extrusion on machines that are independently assembled and modified by the company’s designers. In the process of inventing filters, the equipment went through several stages of improving design and functionality. We continue to develop innovative extrusion production technologies. The introduction of channels into the design of the polypropylene cartridge, in which there was a smooth transition from a large cross-section to a smaller one, made it possible to increase the level of milk purification, first to 5 microns, and then to 3 microns.

UVMILK steel pre-cleaning filters are installed at the receiving area and clean milk from large mechanical impurities over 50 microns in size, such as straw, sawdust, insects, due to the lattice structure through which milk passes freely, and large dirt particles are retained. The use of UVMILK steel filters allows dairies to quickly clean large volumes of milk and save money due to the virtually unlimited service life of the filter.
Thermally bonded UVMILK filters for coarse cleaning allow removing small contaminants larger than 10 microns from milk, whey and process water, such as dust, mechanical impurities, casein crumbs. High loads when passing large volumes of liquids dictate special requirements for the strength of filters. We use ultrasonic welding, which eliminates the possibility of filter rupture at the seams and repeated entry of dirt particles into milk and other liquids.
Highly efficient UVMILK fine filters, thanks to a special structure of variable winding, retain mechanical impurities smaller than 5 microns, which reduces the QMAFAnM and acidity of raw milk. Highly efficient UVMILK fine filters are installed by dairy plants at the stages of receiving and preparing milk for pasteurization to improve technological properties. To eliminate burnt-on deposits and foam, such filters are also installed after the pasteurizer.
UVMILK extrusion filters with improved purification are designed to purify milk from microorganisms and the smallest mechanical impurities larger than 4 microns in size. A lower micron rating allows you to retain more mechanical impurities. By increasing the size of the filters and using a special winding technology, this type of filter has an increased service life, which is especially important when filtering heavily contaminated batches of milk.
UVMILK ultra-fine filters provide maximum reduction of somatic cells in raw milk due to the patented SomaticStop technology and filtration fineness of 3 microns. Today, this is the highest possible degree of purification, which allows for optimal technological properties of milk during processing, preservation of taste and organoleptic properties and absence of sediment in bottled milk during storage.
The dairy plant produces 50 tons of bottled milk daily, which is sent for sale to retail chains. When using only standard mesh filters on the production line, many tiny impurities remain in the milk, which precipitate after bottling. If stores return 10% of the batch once, the loss will be 2,500 bottles X 0.45 € = 1125 €. If the situation repeats itself many times, the store chain will terminate the supply contract.
The use of the UVMILK ULTRA20 milk filter on the bottling line allows you to ensure stable quality of bottled milk, protecting it from the smallest mechanical impurities from the raw milk and the production line. By investing 760 € at a time on filtration, you will perform final control purification of milk at bottling and avoid returns from the networks due to sedimentation. Filter payback period: about two days.
