UVMILK milk filters are manufactured using aerodynamic extrusion on machines that are independently assembled and modified by the company’s designers. In the process of inventing filters, the equipment went through several stages of improving design and functionality. We continue to develop innovative extrusion production technologies. The introduction of channels into the design of the polypropylene cartridge, in which there was a smooth transition from a large cross-section to a smaller one, made it possible to increase the level of milk purification, first to 5 microns, and then to 3 microns.

UVMILK steel pre-filters clean milk from large mechanical impurities larger than 50 microns, such as straw, sawdust, insects, due to the lattice structure through which milk passes freely, and large impurities are retained. Using UVMILK steel filters allows dairy producers to save money due to the reusability and durability of a stainless steel filter.
Thermally bonded UVMILK coarse filters allow you to obtain high-quality milk that is free of impurities larger than 10 microns, such as dust, manure and feed particles. In many households, these filters are the first stage of cleaning and must withstand a significant load. To increase strength, we use ultrasonic soldering, which eliminates the possibility of the filter rupturing at the seams and dirt particles re-entering the milk.
Extruded highly efficient filters UVMILK for fine purification increase the grade of milk and allow you to receive an additional payment from the dairy plant by reducing bacterial contamination and acidity due to the filter design: the filter consists of 100 or more layers with a mesh size of 5 microns. UVMILK filter elements are made of food-grade polypropylene without dyes and chemical impurities, which ensures the preservation of the taste and organoleptic properties of milk.
Extrusion ultrafilters UVMILK ultrafine cleaning contribute to obtaining premium and extra grade milk, increasing profits and cost-effectiveness of milk production due to the maximum reduction of somatic cells due to the patented SomaticStop technology and filtration fineness of 3 microns. Today, this is the highest possible degree of purification, which allows obtaining milk of a consistently premium or extra grade and ensuring optimal technological properties of milk during processing.
A dairy farm produces about 7,000 liters of milk per day. If the udder preparation rules were not followed before milking and the first streams of milk were not milked manually for inspection, then milk with mastitis products also gets into the total volume. As a result, due to high QMAFAnM and somatic cell counts, the milk corresponds to the first grade and is sold at a price of 0.3 instead of 0.33 € per liter. Lost profit of 7,000 liters X 0.03 € = 210 € per day or 6,300 € per month.
The use of UVMILK ULTRA Practic milk filters will effectively remove small mechanical impurities in the form of particles of keratinized epithelium, manure and clots of somatic cells. As a result, the quality of milk increases, as does its purchase price. By investing about €90 per month in filtration, you can ensure additional hygiene control during milking and receive an additional profit of 6,300 € per day. Payback period for filters: 1 day.
