Analysis of the crop production market

In recent years, the Russian agro-industrial complex has traditionally exceeded the strategy indicator for the gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops: in 2023, a record grain harvest was obtained, exceeding the 2021 level by 29.9%. The yield per hectare fluctuates from year to year.
The increase in production in 2022 occurred primarily due to grain and oilseeds against the background of high domestic demand for food products. In the absence of foreign competitors, domestic producers gained more confidence in the possibility of selling their products.
Russia’s self-sufficiency in vegetables can be achieved by 2030. In 2023, this figure was 89.4%. The volume of domestic production of greenhouse and open ground vegetables in the Russian Federation will allow us to meet domestic needs by 2030 and achieve full self-sufficiency in these products.
Thanks to the measures of state support taken, the level of self-sufficiency of Russia in fruits and berries by 2030 will approach 50%, while self-sufficiency in apples already last year exceeded the planned level specified in the food security doctrine and amounted to about 80%.
In order to maintain the profitability of agricultural crop production in 2024, it will be necessary to focus on solving infrastructure problems and increasing storage capacities, which would allow agricultural producers in different regions of the country to reduce costs en masse.
In order to increase the yield of agricultural crops, specialists are constantly working to improve the quality of domestic seed material. With a significant shortage of machinery, equipment and labor, the issue of filtration in crop production is of particular importance.

PROBLEMS OF PRODUCTION OF AGRICULTURAL CROPS IN THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX
- Low prices for fruits and vegetables due to complaints about their appearance and the inability to conclude contracts on favorable terms
- Reduced productivity and breakdowns of irrigation machines due to clogging of spray nozzles with sand, stones, and silt
- Reduced efficiency of treating plants with agrochemicals due to the presence of large amounts of hardness salts in process water
- The need to settle water for irrigation to avoid contamination of irrigation equipment and a decrease in yield
- The ingress of «dead sediment», dust, and rust from fuel storage tanks into the gas tanks of agricultural machinery
- Large residues of plant materials, cake during the primary processing of oilseeds by cold and hot pressing on oil presses
ADVANTAGES OF FILTERS FOR CROP FARMS
- Reduced costs for additional equipment due to simple filtration and reusable steel filters
- Versatility and ease of filtration due to a filter with high productivity and dirt capacity
- Quick-release connections on the covers and nozzles of the housings, allowing you to replace filter elements in a few minutes
- The strength of the housing design provides low filtration costs while maintaining high quality water purification
- An individual approach that allows you to select or manufacture a filter that will be compatible with any design
- High mobility of filter units due to a clear design, the ability to install and maintain them yourself
Benefits of using UVMILK FILTERS FOR CROPS
- High wear resistance of irrigation equipment due to filtration that prevents limescale deposits
- Safe water from wells and reservoirs due to effective filtration from mechanical impurities, industrial waste and organic matter
- Homogeneity of pesticide and herbicide solutions due to filters for chemical solutions and fertilizers that retain unwanted residues of raw materials
- Increased power of agricultural equipment due to UVPETROL filters that clean fuel to factory requirements
- Fuel economy of agricultural equipment due to UVPETROL filters that reduce fuel consumption
- Durability of equipment parts and units due to fuel cleaning from rust particles, bitumen during refueling
ECONOMIC JUSTIFICATION
An agricultural enterprise uses 20 tons of fuel per month, which are stored in two tanks. During storage, dust, dirt, rust, oxidation products and organic mucus get into the fuel. «Dead sediment» can make up to 20% of the initially pumped volume. At a price of 0.52 € per liter, economic losses will be: 0.52 € X 4000 liters = 2080 € per month. During refueling, some of the mechanical impurities rise and get into the gas tanks, which leads to coking, frequent repairs of agricultural machinery and increased fuel consumption.
By installing a UVPETROL fuel filter on the tank, an agricultural enterprise will be able to clean the entire volume of fuel from mechanical sediment, thereby ensuring constant purity of the fuel for refueling. It is possible to additionally equip the housing with a heating casing for using the filter in the winter season. By investing €700 at a time for a set of housing and filters, you will receive clean fuel when pumping out of the tank and prevent breakdowns of agricultural machinery due to problems related to fuel quality. Payback period for filters: less than two weeks.

Feedback
«We use water from a nearby well to irrigate potato fields on our farm. But during the irrigation process, blockages regularly occurred in different parts of the irrigation system. We constantly had to look for the blockage, disassemble the structure, clean it and restart it. This took a lot of time.
We decided to try installing a UVMILK filter for water purification. Now we don’t have problems with blockages, it’s very easy to service and wash the filter yourself. The time saved allows us to pay attention to other tasks, which we have enough of in the field during the summer season. Moreover, next year we plan to expand the area of crops.»
